Why Play Cali*Lax ALL-STARS

  1. Because Box Lacrosse is an awesome game to play and Cali*Lax ALL-STARS is Box Lacrosse at it’s very best.
  2. Because our players can get selected to play for Team USBOXLA.  Our 2017 U18 Team USBOXLA is a ‘real’ National Team and features some of the top NCAA D1 committed players in America.  We have 3 tryouts; in Seattle, Ohio and Philadelphia with hundreds of players vying for a spot on an 18 man squad.  NCAA D1 College coaches are pushing their recruits into this unmatched lacrosse experience.  Why?  Because there’s simply nothing better at making good players great players.  At the youth level there are already over 350 players from over 20 states looking for a spot on our National Team.
  3. Because Box Lacrosse players make great field players (check out our alumni). The #1 reason your player will not be recruited to collegiate lacrosse isn’t the number of field events he attends or how far you fly.  The biggest reason your player will not be recruited or play at a higher level is skill level and our program is without question the very best at building skill.
  4. We have an unmatched coaching staff dedicated to building and sharing the game that we love.
  5. Get coached for a week by the University of Denver’s Matt Brown.  Hard to argue that he isn’t the biggest name in collegiate lacrosse redefining the collegiate game using Box Lacrosse skills and techniques for field lacrosse supremacy.  The same things Matt teaches to his DU team in his quest to win another National Championship is the same things he teaches our players.
  6. We play the top competition in the USA.  Our players are challenged and that’s what builds new skills and confidence.
  7. Recruiting Midget A Tour – the players that develop with us over the years, that put the time and effort into our program get an opportunity to showcase their skills at one of the top recruiting events in the world, alongside the top talent in the world, being coached by Brodie Merrill one of the most decorated coaches and players in the world.
  8. The Strength of USBOXLA – Cali*Lax ALL-STARS is a Charter Member in the USA.  We created this game in the USA and in our spare time we’ve grown USBOXLA into one of the largest organizations in the game of lacrosse – 10,000 members strong and growing exponentially.  Future world class events are right around the corner.
  9. Because elite level Box Lacrosse is played only in Canada.  USBOXLA has done a great job in developing the game in the USA but these Canadians have a 100 year head start in their game and we have to spend some money to get these higher level box experiences north of the border.
  10. Exclusive entry into A Level Division at the biggest and most competitive Box Lacrosse event in the USA, the USBOXLA Nationals.
  11. and the biggest reason why you should play Cali*Lax ALL-STARS is…that if you play Box, you’ll get better and you’ll have FUN!
