A 12 year National Lacrosse League veteran and World Champion, Santos enjoyed a stellar pro career as both a player and also as an NLL coach.  Santos played with the Rochester Knighthawks, Buffalo Bandits, Albany Attack who later relocated and became the San Jose Stealth bringing Santos and youth Box Lacrosse to the west coast. Before captaining California’s pro Box lacrosse team, the San Jose Stealth, Shaydon captained the Whitby Warriors Jr A team, a Canadian powerhouse team that continually produces some of the top players in NCAA.

Santos’ sister Troyhann, one of the first female athletes who played boys box in Canada was later recruited  to James Madison University (2017 D1 Champions) to play NCAA D1 lacrosse.  After her collegiate career she represented Canada for 4 World Cups and captained 2 Team Canada teams.   She was instrumental in the development of girls Box Lacrosse in Canada.  She now coaches National Champion powerhouse - Team Ontario and the top female lacrosse athletes in Canada where many will follower in her footsteps in playing NCAA D1.
