Over 34 Years of Top Box Lacrosse Experience

A 12 year NLL veteran and World Champion, Santos enjoyed a stellar career as a defensive specialist and also as an NLL coach.  Santos played with the Rochester Knighthawks, Buffalo Bandits, Albany Attack who later relocated and became the San Jose Stealth bringing Santos and youth Box Lacrosse to the west coast. Before captaining California’s pro Box lacrosse team, the San Jose Stealth, Shaydon captained the Whitby Warriors Jr A team, a Canadian power house team that continually produces some of the top players in NCAA. Santos’ sister Troyhann, a JMU standout played in 4 World Cups and captained 2 Team Canada teams and was instrumental in the development of girls Box Lacrosse in Canada.  She was recently inducted into the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Shaydon serves as co-founder and President of the US Box Lacrosse Association (USBOXLA) – with over 10,000 active members across 33 states and growing exponentially. Santos chairs the USBOXLA Rules, USBOXLA game development and USBOXLA education committee. Santos is the National Head Coach of U18 Team USBOXLA coaching some of the country’s top DI committed players each summer in Vancouver, Canada.

Santos and partner Matt Brown also own the US Box Lacrosse Academy hosting various educational events throughout the country.
